Yearly Archives: 2013

Launching a new website on a new platform—and integrating that platform with a new database and collaborative site—was a daunting prospect for our small nonprofit. Someone suggested that we seek help from Brett Wangman at TCAG, and we are forever grateful for that recommendation. Working with Brett has been a pleasure from start to finish. Brett listened carefully to our needs and asked the right questions to help us get where we needed to be. His knowledge of how nonprofits and associations operate, combined with his technical expertise and understanding of collaboration management, is a very rare and winning combination. The integration and launch went without a hitch and has worked smoothly ever since.

Brett’s support did not end with the launch; he has been there to give advice and assistance as we have needed it. I cannot think of another organization where the president—or any employee, for that matter—is as accessible, responsive, or helpful as Brett has been. We feel extremely lucky to have worked with Brett on our project and he will be our go-to partner on any future project.

Brett Wangman Recognized for Contributions to Higher Logic

Brett Receiving MVC Award at Super Forum 13At the Higher Logic Super Forum (December 2013), TCAG President, Brett Wangman receives a Most Valuable Contributor (MVC) Award for his sharing of expertise on HUG, the Higher Logic User Group.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Brett has been recognized for his contributions and expertise sharing.  Andy Steggles, Higher Logic President & Chief Customer Officer, presents Brett with his award.

And shortly after receiving his award, Brett went back to his hotel room and shaved off the moustache.  Movember was officially over.

I have worked with Brett Wangman for over three years and have launched two major web sites during that time. He has provided insights into association best practices regarding web site design, integration, communications, and member engagement. Brett has personally been very responsive when we have questions and has effectively acted on our behalf working with service providers on developing new features. I strongly recommend Brett’s services from concept to implementation to adapting to association member needs.

Contextual has partnered with TCAG and its president, Brett Wangman, since we first started delivering content management solutions for non-profits and associations back in 2006, and it has been a truly rewarding experience for us and for our (mutual) clients.  TCAG’s full-range association management capabilities coupled with Brett’s management, technical acumen, attention to detail, and desire to help a customer achieve success lie directly with our own goals and motivations, and are really unique.

We feel as though TCAG and Brett represent the same ‘lean and mean’, value-oriented, professional and invested approach that we like to take with clients.  We’ve been close partners with TCAG and Brett over the years – long enough that Brett and I can sometimes finish each other’s thoughts – and plan to continue partnering on technical association projects with TCAG into the future.

I can’t recommend Brett and TCAG enough.  Anyone lucky (and smart) enough to work with Brett and his team at TCAG will realize they’re enjoyable to work with, actually care about their clients, and are providing more value for investment than the other options out there.
